Haley is so excited to announce that she is going to have another GIRL cousin!! Little Girl Hejl will be her same age in school and hopefully be like a sister to Haley! We are pumped! Congrats Luke, Sara and Coop!

Cowgirl Don't Cry

I think of that song everyday when Haley is screaming. Yes, we have a little feisty colicky drama queen on our hands. We love her to death though. We have started to think that those little pittiful sad faces are pretty cute all afternoon long. I did read that colicky babies are smart, so we can stand it for 3 months if she will get a full ride to ACU and save us some money! Remember that Miss Haley!!
Haley will be 6 weeks old on Tuesday. Here is what she can do now:

-Roll from her side to her back or side to her tummy

-Scoot all over her bed sideways

-Hold her head up more on her own

-Lay on her tummy and raise her head for quite awhile

-Scream, scream, cry, yell, scream

-Coo and make noises in the mornings

-Have a bath, bottle and go to bed for the past week and sleep for 5 hours straight-she is getting into the routine

-Crawl up your body when you are holding her and try to jump over your shoulder or off the chair when you are burping her

Little Model

Friday Laura, Jim and Ella came down from Denver City for a fun photo shoot. As you can see below Laura brought her "mini" studio that wasn't so "mini" and she did an awesome job. I can't wait to get the pictures. Laura is so talented and the pictures were awesome. We also got to spend time with Ella who is now 6 months and so much fun. She smiles all the time and is such a doll. Thanks guys for coming to see us and for the photo shoot. We always love the visits from yall!

Okay, so you may be wondering about these videos. The song "Its my life" comes to mind for some reason. Haley is a crier. But-the vacuum helps and makes her stop. So this has been our life. My floor should be really clean by now.

First Sunday at Church

Today was Haley's first time to go to church. She was very good and slept most of the time. Daddy had to take her out at the end and give her a spanking for crying, but thats about it.

We had some tights, shoes, and a cute outfit picked out for her, but when we woke up and it was like 71 degrees, we decided we better change our outfit plans. She loves sun dresses. She is going to love summer and laying by the pool just like her mommy.

Haley sure enjoyed her Grandma and Grandfather coming to visit. Mommy and daddy sure it enjoyed the sleep and time as well.

Weight: 7lbs 2 oz

Height: 20 inches

Head: 13 inches

She is growing big and everything is looking good. The doctor recommended that we change her formula to a gentler kind to help her stomach not be so gassy. We don't have to go back to the doctor until April 16th! Yay!!!

Its a Girl! 3 Weeks Tomorrow!!

It's A Girl!! Congrats to Kami and Aaron, they will be blessed with a beautiful little girl Emory Lea Winter in July! Haley is sooo excited to have another little roommate/best friend in July. We were so happy that they stopped by yesterday to visit Miss Haley and get a little taste of what parenthood will be like in the first 3 weeks. Hope it didn't scare them away.


Haley will be 3 weeks tomorrow. I would like to say that time has flown by, but with everything going on, it seems like she should be 3 months by now. She is getting stronger and tries to stand up when you burp her, raises her head up when she is on her stomach and has a little temper when she wants to eat, sleep or have her diaper changed. One thing everyone gets to experience when they hold Haley is her smelly farts. They are stinky and scare the boys away. Her dad says thats okay with him for now scaring the boys away.
