Prayers

I have been meaning to post this, but everything has moved so fast I haven't had a chance. My Aunt Donna was diagnosed with 2 brain tumors last week. She has been in the hospital since the CT Scan and had her surgery today. Praise God that she just got out of a 5 hour surgery and she is TALKING!! They diagnosed it as Astrocytoma and they are going to do radiation treatment. They will be doing a biopsy to see if its malignant, but they know that it originates in the brain and has not metastasized.

The surgery is done, which has been weighing on everyone's mind, but there is still a long road ahead for Donna and Gene. Gene is my mom's brother. Please continue to pray for them, their kids, and all of our family. God says he will not give you more than you can handle, but its kind of like I said to God when I got the stomach virus when I was so sick last March "God, okay, I've had enough, I think this is all I can handle" and sure enough my muscles began to get stronger the next week or two. The Senter family has had quite the tough year, but as I say that, I think, WOW-what an amazing family of God! Thoughout the entire year of events, probably the #1 word said in each situation was/is Prayer. God does answer prayers and he is an awesome God.

ONE

Oh my, it feels so weird to write the word ONE. It will be the first time I don't have to say her age in months anymore. My baby isn't such a baby anymore, and honestly I am very excited about that!!

When thinking back on the past year, I have realized that life is not always what we have planned, but that God does answer prayers and that he is faithful to those who love him. Sometimes we have to face trials and obstacles in our lives to appreciate each day here on earth.

Haley, you are such a precious gift to your daddy and I and we are so glad we didn't know then what we know now, because we might not have ever had such a perfect little gift from God. You are our life and I can't quite remember what we did without you everyday! We love you so much! Happy 1st Birthday Haley Clarke Price-WE MADE IT!!!

Baby Service, Eggs, Sippy Cups, Whole Milk, and Yogurt!

Today was our baby service at church! The Elders prayed for the babies and families and the babies got a homemade quilt, and a Children's Bible! It was so special! I love our church family and am so blessed to be apart of such a wonderful group of Christians! Keith said some really great things to Haley, but Haley thought it would be funny to talk back to him and to say something herself. So I'm pretty sure Keith cut it short, and I didn't hear much of what he said! We sure did miss Mary today during the service! I have lots of picture for you!

Okay, I know my title is random, but Haley has had many firsts this weekend. On Saturday she starting drinking whole milk in her sippy cup (no more bottles), well except for her night bottle for a little bit longer. Haley had eggs, yogurt, and toast with jelly for the first time ever on Saturday morning. She loved all of it too! She also road in her new front facing car seat yesterday! Such a big girl!
